Page components

EdWeb 2 offers many components you can use to display your content.

These are designed to be easy to rearrange and personalise so they are specific to your webpages, and you can make key content stand out.

When you use the 'Landing page' content type, you can rearrange your page components into different layouts.

EdWeb 2 allows you to format your body text in various different ways, as well as providing user-friendly headings and the ability to rearrange your paragraphs on your webpage.

A button can be used to emphasise and encourage a call-to-action on your webpage.

With the quote component you can make important or impressive quotes stand out on your website.

You can add documents into your webpages for users to click and open.

Using headings on your website will make your content more visually appealing and easier to navigate by signposting different topics.

Feature boxes are a great way to make specific pieces of content stand out on your webpage.

Cards are a specific component you can add to landing pages. They provide a summary of a topic that will be covered on your site, and can link out to other pages.

Adding links to your webpages improves user experience and search engine performance.

Tables can effectively display complex written options or numerical information in a way that is easy to compare.

Accordions should be used where a page contains a lot of content that is not relevant to all users, but not just to 'shorten' long pages.  

Related content icon

The related content component allows you to add links to other relevant pages on your website and encourages the user's onward journey.

The Custom HTML component in EdWeb 2 allows you to integrate HTML code into your webpages so you can display widgets that are relevant to your website.
