Table

Tables can effectively display complex written options or numerical information in a way that is easy to compare.

When could you use a table?

You can use a table to communicate a long list of items with detailed information or links associated with them.

They are also useful when comparing information, or displaying numerical data.

For example, you could use a table to display an office's opening times or display staff details and contact information.

Things to consider

  • You cannot add media into a table, only links and written content.
  • Tables are basic and unresponsive and you are unable to adjust cell properties such as cell height/width, background colour or border colours.
  • Your table styling options are limited to those offered in EdWeb 2.

Table styling

When you create a table in EdWeb 2, you can choose from 5 different table options for you to find the style that best suits your content.

You can see examples of the table styling options and step-by-step guidance for creating tables on our Wiki page.
