With the quote component you can make important or impressive quotes stand out on your website.

Why use the quote component?

Emphasising certain quotes and speakers can make your content look more convincing, reputable and persuasive. 

The quote component allows you to add the name of the speaker and a citation role if you need to, without interrupting the flow of your main body text.  

How does it look?

When you add quotes as a component, the quote, an optional citation name and an optional citation role will appear in a white text box partially bordered in the theme colour of your site. 

The text will also be in italics and feature enlarged speech marks to make it stand out from the rest of the body text.  

When you add a quote as a page component, this is how it will display on your webpage, in a way that emphasises its importance.

You can add the name of the speaker here. Underneath, you can add their role.
